Summary

In volume three of Tom Slemen's legendary Haunted Liverpool series, you will read about the spine-chilling Marriage Made in Hell, the lecherous Satanist from beyond the grave - Richard Tilly, the Vengeful Grave of Allerton Cemetery, and the cursed Green Eye of the Mersey among the 49 supernatural tales contained within this fabulous book. Unravel the mystery of the Faceless Man of Renshaw Street, and ponder upon the peculiar case of the day when the Devil walked through a snowbound Liverpool. Just some of the strange but true mysteries from one of England's great chroniclers of the unknown - Tom Slemen.

Ii can't cope with the person reading out the book... very distracting!

I love tom slemens books.. but that American reader is so random his efforts at a Scouse or even English accent are so distracting can't help but laugh out loud as I'm listening.. which defeats the point of listening to ghost stories. the voices are absolutely ridiculous... could have at least chosen a British person, someone from anywhere in Britain, doesn't have to be Scouse. I find myself repeating everything in my mind in a Scouse accent so I can really take the story in seriously because the accent attempts are so comical.

Is the American narrator really necessary?

Its hard to take it seriously. And what accent was he trying to do? It made a mockery of the book.
