Summary
Millions and millions of years ago, when the big bang happened in the universe, and the Earth was created... People believed that it was an act of evil that made Adam eat the apple; it wasn’t that something went wrong that day, as you see, all good and bad thoughts came from two rooms in a faraway galaxy. One room was covered by a blue cloth, and one room was covered by a black cloth, and both were controlled by special codes. And with help from other creatures in the galaxy, the good room could control human thoughts.
That was, until a huge war started with a creature called Griller turning bad, forcing the galaxies gods to banish all the creatures and the cloths to Earth, never to be found. That was until one day, thousands of years later, Hayden and his dad discover the good cloth and its contents hidden in a mountains cave. The good cloth turns into a coat with a code that has superpowers, and Hayden becomes a superhero overnight, being named coded boy.
But behind the good that was also in the mountain was the bad black cloth, and a creature called Quahcain that is looking for it. Quahcain wants to find the answers and bring Griller back, which will bring darkness to the world.

Hayden and the Coded Coat
Perfect for children and families to listen to. I really enjoyed the story overall and my children have listened to it in one go and then again as it is one of those stories that you can as a parent fall back on to fill a time gap the kids.

Witty and smart
I listen to this book with my third grader and although some of these books written for children can you help me falling asleep, this one had me laughing and very interested. I was so interested that when it ended I wasn’t expecting it and I was like that’s it it’s over. So needless to say I cannot wait for the next book… I mean my daughter can’t wait for the next one. In any event I thought the narrator did an awesome job he was very good with all the different voices from the little heroes to the deep voice skeletons they were all awesome and although the Jaha was only mentioned to her three times in the book I have to say I love them this is an awesome book and if you have a third or fourth grader or even a fifth grader I’m sure they would love it I’m a grown woman and I loved it, but so did my daughter.

Exciting Children's Book!
Hayden and the coated coat is an adorable story about a boy and his father that end up in a cave and find a magical coded coat.
My daughter really enjoyed listening to this story with me. And for me, I love any children's book that inspires confidence in my daughter, this book sure did that!
I recommend this book to all young girls and boys. I believe it has a powerful message that should be heard.
Another great job by this author!

Great.
Another great listen by Mr Wright and Son! I listened to book 2 of the series first and although I didn't think this one was quite as good it is still a brilliant short listen. Colin Wasmund's narration is excellent bringing each character to life with his excellent use of different voices. Highly recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review voluntarily. *****

Lovely, entertaining book!
We really enjoyed this book! Great for primary age children and the audiobook version makes it suitable for younger children too. Perfect superhero storyline and a lovely family angle. The narration was very entertaining and we loved the character voices!

Great story for kids
The author done an awesome job in putting this audiobook together and making it engaging. My nephews enjoyed listening to the story of the coded boy Hayden and the drama with Quahcain. Narration was amazing, especially with all the different voices and accents! Definitely recommend

Great Superhero story for kids
This is a great story for young kids to listen to and enjoy. Find out what powers the 'coded coat' possess and what is the role of President Dump in the story.
Who will win the fight..Will it be Coded boy or Destroyable boy?!!
Fascinating story, narrated really well as the narrator takes on different voices.

What a great kids story
An exciting adventure, my grandson really enjoyed this book, it's a thrill a minute and he loved the hand-drawn images that come with the kindle book that accompanies it. He read and listened at the same time.
