Summary
Somebody wants her sister dead....
FBI Special Agent Ann Duncan knows how to face down danger, but once again, she's not the target. Her baby sister, Joy Davidson, has stumbled upon a conspiracy and made some powerful enemies.
Luck and God's grace help Ann save her sister the first time, but she knows the bad guys will try again. With Patrick on a university tour and perhaps the most important case of her career weighing upon her mind, Ann must find the strength, wisdom, and heart to find out who wants her sister dead, what Joy discovered, and how to stop the conspirators. Ann instinctively knows that if she fails, the Davidson case will only be the first of many tragedies.

Heartfelt read
I did enjoy this story but found I got fed up with all the praying which is a same because otherwise it is a good story and series. I have listened to the other books in the series and enjoyed them, the other books did have religious aspects to them but this one had a little to much. I liked the characters and it was nice to learn a bit more about her and Patrick's family life. I hope there will be another book in this series.
FBI agent Ann Duncan gets a case that hits a little to close to home for her liking. Her baby sister is attacked in her own home and it is only by the grace of God that she is alive and the fact that Ann herself stopped him. But he was only hired help and her life is still in danger. With Patrick away giving talks, Ann must solve this case on her own. The couple is taunted and an old enemy from there past resurfaces. Can they be related to the attack on her sister or just a coincidence?
I liked the narrator and thought she did a good job expressing all the emotion that goes into story.

I enjoyed this book!
I found this book better than the second one and it is only a novella but the story had a little more to it. The main characters in this series are a married couple that are FBI agents, so each book is a case they are involved in. They have some special skills which make them very good at their job but it also gets them into trouble. Each book we learn a little more about them as well as their friends Rachel and John. ,I have found the stories interesting but lacking the depth I enjoy most. The 2 couple's are also Christians so that adds another layer to the story that I enjoy. Worth the time it takes to listen and get away from your own life for awhile.
I received a free code for this book from Audiobooks Unleashed to listen to on Audible. This review is my own honest opinion

fantastic
another fantastic audiobook from the pen of Julie c Gilbert and narrated by Elizabeth Perry, I would say that her Scottish/Irish accent is terrible though and did make it hard as a Scot to understand xxxxxx
