Summary
Logan is more content and complete than ever with his lover, Jaime, as companion to help run the Tea House, their quaint bed and breakfast with its extensive garden of tea roses. Each day, Logan chooses a new daily rose to be on display for their patrons, and each day, his hunger grows. He always eventually needs to feed again, but he promised Jaime to only devour those who deserve it. Despite it being the busy season, the current guests taking advantage of their pay what you can policy offer few options. Little does Logan know his resolve to keep his promise to Jaime will soon be tested as old patrons he met decades previously are coming for a visit and don't expect to find the same concierge as when they were teenagers. He might once again be forced to eliminate all witnesses to the dark truth of...Hollow House.

Jaime, Logan, and the Tea House
It was such a treat to get to visit Jaime, Logan, and the Tea House again, and I thought this was the perfect bite-sized followup to their previous story. Because I already knew the secrets Logan was hiding, this book felt much less spooky and sinister and instead left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I enjoyed the duality of experiencing Jaime and Logan's present day love and getting glimpses of Mac and Jackie's teenage years fifty years ago, and I thought their reappearance at the Tea House was an interesting twist to keep Logan on his toes. The rest of the book was a slice of life style narrative that showed me how deeply in love Jaime and Logan remained and set the stage for what the future might look like for the two of them. Add in a dash of steaminess and some paranormal magic to send Jackie and Mac off on their happily ever after and that sums up this followup. I thought it was a sweet and fun read with a satisfyingly hopeful ending for both couples featured in the story.
