Interesting topic I had never really thought about
I never really thought about Vodou/Voodoo much but this audible taught me how much I didn't know. It's well registered and very informative. I love the range of topics the author brings to us. I will be listening more to her work.

“folk magic” seems to be interchangeable
You’re who likes to dally in magic. And as far as I know, that’s pretty frowned upon by both Catholics and witches. The audible title is a tad misleading since “folk magic” seems to be interchangeable with “witchcraft”. Now, the author is also one of the types to constantly be recurring “make it your own thing what works for you”. So, it reaches to reason someone with this train of thought would assume anyone and everyone can snap their fingers and poof, be an Italian Witch. Or that you can take or leave the saints.

Anyone thinking of looking into Hoodoo and Voodoo
This work is amazing! It teaches you about Secrets, how it grew up with her craft, how the craft can affect you, how to start and find your way. Most 'beginners' books don't do that, they're clinical and unhelpful, whereas this is heartfelt, warm, and helpful. It guides you and shows you, it doesn't just coldly tell you...

This is not a attack audible
It is no doubt a very good listening for someone who is after the author history and works especially those who want to build their devotion to her. The spells, however, in this work are consisted of perhaps everyday hoodoo practices based on superstition or beliefs, applicable spells, and extreme ones like "Coffin spell to cause the death of an enemy". I wouldn't want to do that.

Voodoo
listen to the beliefs, rituals, and mysticism behind voodoo. You will learn fact versus fiction. You will also learn the secrets behind this beautiful and powerful religion. I learned a lot listen this audible. It is wonderful for anyone to listen. It is clear and concise and very easy to understand. I recommend this audible.

The full truth about Voodoo!
I have a great interest in mystical religions and Voodoo is one of those. In fictional movies, it usually goes with dark magic; yet the opposite fact can be found in this audible. I did not perceive it out of ambitions to practice Voodoo, I just wanted to know and understand more about this religion. All my expectations are met. This work contains the history of Voodoo, a long one that we cannot accurately trace back.
