Could have been better

A really great storyline that was wasted. Working in health the issues that faced Megan were very real but this book misses the opportunity to really explore these. Instead you get her insecurities (real as they are) seeming annoying & constant to the listener. I'm not sure if the author had experienced this first hand but once the listener disengages with the main characters problems....your book will fail. It's almost as this was written 30 years ago as treatments etc have advanced. The hero was not someone who touched me & the romance/sex was as detached as the story. A real disappointment & really only worth reading/listening to if you are without a heart or hormones.
