Having a good day!

I really enjoyed this audio book, the reader style was a little bland for my liking but since it was read by the author who am I to argue! She was just a bit reserved, I'd like a bit more variable intonation but then it didn't detract from the content. The content was great, a lot of sound advice brought to one place. It was just what I needed and I will be relistening regularly till I can memorize many of the habits. I admit I though it was so good that halfway through I also went and bought the paperback book so I could refer to it visually. As a middle manager with bulging inbox I really found it helpful, I've read many studies and books and this references some familiar material but it's approach is sensible, realistic and warm. This book is ideal for anyone who wants to get the best out of the working day but also wants to be a decent human being

Behavioural science made easy to apply

Fantastic book. Great explanations. One small criticism would be that the delivery was a little stilted at times which got a bit distracting

Too long unfortunately

This book was a bit of a slog to get through unfortunately, some great ideas but the sheer volume meant that I'm struggling to remember which really resonated.

Evidence based must read

It is very rare in this genre to find a book that offers sensible suggestions with a firm link to the evidence that supports the advice.
Very easy to listen to and relate to. There's ideas in here that will resonate with everyone.
Highly recommend.

A scientific approach to having a good day

Very much worth the listen. The book offers up hundreds of techniques and skills for work and day to day life, all supported by scientific studies and research.

What I really liked is that thw author offera multiple options, and the listener can chose those that fits, its not some snake oil approach where there's one size fits all.

Only slight drawback is that the narration can be a bit monotonous at times, making it a bit of a push to listen to in long intervals.

Will probably have a second listen later on as a refresher.

Good topic ...bad narrator

If i had to narrate my own book i would say no. I love Audible books but in my opinion the narrator is so important. Its a deal breaker so I am only reviewing on what i listened to. I threw in the towel on this one!

getting the print or kindle version too!

offers practical tools to use in numerous situations...definately a book shelf staple!! quality piece of work. took me over a week and I really look forward to implementing a lot of the tips offered. Brilliant!!!

Good book, but...

Confusing that sections are not Split by chapters but instead randomly split. Also why do sections miss descriptions in chapter overview. makes it hard to trace the sections you want to hear again. This should be fixed at the next edition
