Summary

Everyone has a routine. But what if someone was watching your every move? Exploring the universal theme of fear, I See You, is a tense, electrifying thriller that will keep you looking over your shoulder. This audiobook will have you enthralled for hours and is a must-listen for fans of the crime genre.

When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it's there. There's no explanation, no website - just a grainy image and a phone number. She takes it home to her family, who are convinced it's just someone who looks like Zoe. But the next day, the advert shows a photo of a different woman, and another the day after that. Is it a mistake? A coincidence? Or is someone keeping track of every move they make?

I See You is an edge-of-your-seat psychological thriller from one of the most exciting and successful British debut talents of 2015.

Ooooh loved it!

Gripping, thrilling, well written story! Loved the concept, really unusual, with great twists and turns. The chilling inserts from the perpetrator where brilliant, really creepy on audio! Highly recommend if you're looking for a book you can't stop listening too. I couldn't wait for my next listen. This is my first book by Claire Macintosh, so will be moving on to her other right away!

Great intrigue

Where does I See You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The narration was perfection on this very interesting and different story! So far in my listening, this has been by far the best from every point of view.

Have you listened to any of Rachel Atkins’s other performances? How does this one compare?

This is my first taste of Rachel Atkins work - and of ALL the audio books I have listened to so far - this has been THE very best. A very clever lady. I shall be searching for more of her work. She brings writing to life in her reading!

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Listen and believe or you could be the next victim.

Any additional comments?

Cannot wait for more from this author - and definitely more from the narrator.

Not my usual, but I was GRIPPED!

What a story! This was my first Clare Mackintosh and it definitely won't be my last. The narrative was brought thrillingly to life performed by Rachel Atkins. I thought the twists and turns of the plot were made more absorbing by the beautifully zoomed in and zoomed out way that the author describes things. If you like Lisa Jewell or Liane Moriarty, do try this. I have literally had to stop my life in its tracks to finish this audio book and right up to the end, the plot shocks that I just didn't see kept coming! GRIPPING!

Well thought out plot and characters

From the beginning I knew who the perpetrator was... or did I? One minute I was sure I knew who it was then I changed my mind then changed it back!! Well read .. with a fab twist at the end!! You always know when you've read a good book... when you're sad it's finished! Brilliant!!

Entertaining.

The story held held my interest but lacked depth. Narration was good and consistent throughout.

Really great!

Really great storyline. Quite a slow start but made up for it mid way through. Loved the ending, hope there is a second book sometime in the future.

Very Unique plot..but

A very unique plot, and the heroine of the story started off really likeable....but then unfortunately descended into a whimpering wreck at the EXACT precise moment at which she should have been transforming into a lioness - sick of being a victim and ready to fight tooth and nail for herself and her family. She had been through a rough ride, it's true, but at the very pinnacle of desperation in the story...her understandable anger and outrage just seemed to switch to a slow boil for a painful amount of time! The WPC helping with the case was more than slightly irritating at times with her tunnel vision mentality and knee-jerk reactions. BUT, despite the slight character flaws, the story was very imaginative, with a good narrator, and the plot twisted and twisted right until the end. A great roller coaster thriller. I enjoyed it.
