Summary
As a result of my podcast and the first book, I often hear people talking about how there are no good men anymore. Femininity too is degrading due to the social Marxism that has invaded our American society. While men are becoming less manly in most measurable ways, women are becoming more traditionally masculine in behavior, and thus, less feminine. Rather than just stand around befuddled by this decline, I chose to attempt to make a manual for men to follow. That is what this book is. It is a reasonably complete accounting of what you should be doing as a man. It is a discussion of what has caused this crisis, and a detailed list of exactly how to get your shit together in spite of these factors.

Essential listening.
This was recommended by SDM on YouTube. It is rare to hear something which is so clearly undiluted that the minor errors in it are not masked, but are swiftly corrected by the author. His conversational style is very easy to listen to and his music choices are diverse but relevant. I do recommend this. It is straight to the point, short and not sweet at all. Bravo sir.

Generic misogyny and far-right concepts
TL;DR: Authors thought process, logic and arguments scream insecure American republican man doesn’t know how to adapt to a world where women aren’t second class citizens
The best part of this audiobook is the performer (and even he takes needlessly long pauses, and trips on his word’s occasionally). I was suggested this book by a girl friend of mine, as she wanted my views on it - I am yet to talk to her about them.
I tried to keep an open mind throughout this book but from the first two chapters alone I understood that it was written by some man who had a ridiculous hero fantasy from watching one too many war hero movies or reading too many comic books.
This is not to say that the author is entirely wrong, just many of his viewpoints are misguided and his logic for explaining these “masculine traits” is barely functional at best.
For example, at the end of chapter 2 he suggests, in a round about way, that gun legislation makes men less capable of protecting their families while it has no impact on criminals who would have broken the law anyways. Perhaps this resonated with me as one of the dumbest things I’ve heard, because I’m from a country that has heavy gun legislation and neither me or my family has ever had a gun pulled out on us, and while we have seen and been threatened to be the victims of knife violence, per capita my nation has less gun and knife violence than the US. Additionally to this the purpose of Chapter 2: Violence, is to tell men to find a release for natural violent urges to make them better at using violence should the time arise where they need to help somebody.
Men shouldn’t help people because they think they’ll “win” whatever confrontation they end up in. People should help each other simply because it is the right thing to do.
While I do believe that in the modern day the discussion of “what is a man?” And what it means to be a man is important, I believe that this author only wishes to bring back a version of masculinity that has been removed from society due to its outdated, harmful nature.
