Summary

When Natalie reluctantly agrees to attend a school reunion, she hits it off with former classmate Josh - a boy she barely spoke to while they were at school together - and finds herself swept up in a whirlwind romance with him. Then she receives a message: You can do better than marrying a murderer.

As Natalie pieces together the tragic story of the teenage girl who drowned at Chedford Lake, she realizes she has the perfect opportunity to clear Josh’s name. But it will mean putting herself in serious danger - and betraying someone she loves. With Josh spiraling deeper into despair and her own life torn apart by lies, can Natalie unravel what really happened before it’s too late?

Great story well narrated

I love this author.I did suspect who the bad guy was (guy being not gender specific) but thoroughly enoyed the plot unfolding and the psychology of dysfunction that underlies all of us. Josh and Natalie find themselves in a passionate relationship following a school reunion but their past lives unravel as their relationship strengthens, bringing into focus their previous experiences and their perceptions of those that have been close to them. The unravelling tests their faith in one another - could they even trust in that? A really good read and page turner with a fitting ending
I recommend this intelligently written book in which everyone has flaws.
