Very good book about Tony iommi
I have alot of admiration for Tony iommi through the years people have focused on ozzy but there are 4 members of that band and each one has his talent and journey with this band.

Truly brilliant
Never a big fan of Sabbath more AC/DC / Led Zeppelin but always appreciated their music. Tony writes well and shares his journey if fantastic detail. Bev Bevan did a decent enough job narrating though it did come across as a geography teacher mostly. Doesn’t matter much I enjoyed the book entirely absolutely brilliant

Great story, bev sounds like Alan partridge
Was a good book, shame I could hear bev’s saliva swishing around his mouth and swallowing and I’m sure I heard his stomach rumble half way through, I throughly I was listening to in the oust house with Alan partridge,
I would recommend but you got to get used to bev

LOVED IT!!
Loved it so funny at times and moments of sadness but what a story a great life! And a very down to earth man! Took a while to get used to bev reading it but he did good and all in all brilliant! A must for rock fans!

Really interesting listen
I really enjoyed this book. I like the fact they used a Brummie, however I found he had a strange inflection and seemed to pause at points where he shouldn't. I don't know if this was the narrator or author, I just found it weird. That being said it was a great tale, like most rockers autobiographies it got a bit boring and repetitive towards the end, but they tend to........ the ones that don't are dead!
Well worth a listen.

Alan Partridge mixed with Spinal Tap
Loved it. I'm a huge sabbath fan anyway but the 11 hours flew by. Sometimes accidentally funny (some lines are straight out of Alan Partridge) and sometimes plain hilarious (literally, some stories were the inspiration for spinal tap), this is was just loads of fun.

Fascinating and well written
Not massive Sabbath fan but have to say this was excellent and cant recommended it enough.
Very very well written and really enjoyed Bev Bevans narration.
Enough to give a total insight into a rock legend from childhood to present day. Respectful.. Informative and humour...
Give it a listen.

Amazing book
I really enjoyed this, I learnt a lot from one of my favourite guitarist and band that inspires me to keep playing. I like how the narrator is one of Tony Iommi's friends and due to that it gives this narration more of a friendly vibe. I would recommend this to my fellow Metalhead friends.
