Summary
Le docteur James Hardcastle se remet difficilement d'une tuberculose, et doit impérativement partir quelques mois en convalescence. Il choisit d'aller se reposer quelques temps dans la ferme de Mademoiselle Allerton, isolée dans la campagne anglaise.
