About this listen
Lantern is a “milder” extreme horror short story not for those with a weak heart or stomach.
A weekend away in the middle of nowhere, sounds peaceful, right? Now add a lifetime of fear and a crazed stalker, what could go wrong?
Jen inherits her Grandmother’s home in a rural town in Maine after her father passes away. Now she is forced to return to the place responsible for her childhood trauma.
At night a man has watched her for years — cigarette lit and lantern in hand. For years he has only watched from afar, until someone else gets in the way, tipping the scales.
The man decides it is time to take what he believes is his.

Excellent Narration of an Excellent Short Story!
An excellent short horror story with equal amounts of suspense and gore. The build up to the final scene was made all the more compelling by the Narrator, Quiet who did an amazing job of guiding me through.
As a gamer, this story put me in mind of the Survival Horror genre. Specifically a mix of Silent Hill followed by the later Resident Evil games.
A very enjoyable story and I look forward to the next entry in the series.
