The victims all have links to one man, a police colleague with a dark past. But Murrain discovers a more unexpected connection - with Marie Donovan, a former undercover officer now part of Murrain’s own team.

I could listen to narrator all day!!
The combination of a compelling story with characters you cared about and the fab narrator had me hooked. This was a great listen !

an enjoyable listen
I really enjoyed this audible book, it kept me guessing with the storyline, but also believable characters. Well worth listening to.

Check In and don’t check out
I really enjoyed the narration and the DCI with ESP ☺️ and interplay of characters I sense a lot more of the story to come. I knew the killer pretty early on but the story was so good it didn’t matter. More please.

decent enough story
OK story, but tue narration was almost apologetic. no distinction between characters, very little character definition or development, making it difficult at times to understand what or who is talking

Loved it! Good story, plot twists and the promise of more…
