About this listen

The book, Lean Startup: How to Apply the Lean Startup Methodology to Innovate, Accelerate, and Create Successful Businesses, aims to help entrepreneurs build a profitable business. Failure may be inevitable, especially for startup businesses, but truth is, most of these failures could be preventable. This book introduces a new approach with the hopes of changing the way businesses are built and new products and/or services are introduced.

When you start a business, you are in a bubble of uncertainty for some time. This is true whether you are building a company from your garage or you belong to a group of experienced and successful entrepreneurs.

Lean Startup methodology derives its inspiration lean manufacturing, which relies on validated learning, quick scientific experimentation, and counter-intuitive practices that are aimed to minimize product development cycles, quantify actual progress without the need to creating metrics, and find out what consumers really want. Lean Startup helps transition any company to shift directions with gusto and tweaking plans slowly.

Companies may do away creating elaborate, sometimes unreachable, business plans. This book caters to all kinds of entrepreneurs, whether you belong to a huge company or you've just started in your parent's garage (or backyard). The book also teaches entrepreneurs to learn to adapt and eventually adjust to the changing times.

The Lean Startup book aims to have startup entrepreneurs learn a new scientific approach that will help them create the best products and/or provide the best services. And it doesn't have to start there, listeners will learn how to manage and maintain a successful startup in a time when companies have to be on their toes all the time and continuously innovate to stay competitive in the market.

Well done

This is a book I am going to read several times. Providing an abundance of references to relevant literature, and being able to gather it all together into a very interesting and relevant book for everyone who works in the field of innovation and rapid development.

Awesome book

The ideas and practices are useful at various levels, not just in new organizations and not just for entrepreneurs. I would love a follow-up to this with a series of real-world, worked examples something with enough detail to reenact the practices within your own business.

The audiobook is extremely informative for people

Six Sigma training provides a process-oriented approach that teaches practitioners a methodology to select the right tool, at the right time, for a predefined project. so I was glad that the author repeated the basis of the concept throughout the book.

Extremely Prescribed Audible

This is recommended as the essential hearing for those founding startups and it is a great book. It won't tell you how to market your startup but there are other books to cover that area.

I slanted such tremendous quantities of effective things from this audiobook. These formulas are very flavorful. He offers very practical guidance in a simple step by step approach that will save many businesses a lot of money. This is a really useful audiobook for these who wish to take a challenge in a start-up or those who innovate in a big corporation.

Must have

While the authors provide a very useful list of business models and the relevant metrics, it is a starting point. One needs to identify and apply metrics that are more relevant to the industry and context that the startup is in.

I am very happy to have this book

I work Lean projects every week at work and I listen to this book often. Well worth its price, especially as an intro to the basics and a quick desk reference. So I recommend either finding a short version of the book or ignore paragraphs, otherwise, these ruffles would take you away from the point.
