About this listen

Neil McClain is the screw-up, the one everyone hopes will win but expects to lose. He wants to live a better life, one that his late mother would be proud of, but his belief in himself is weak.

Sage Moniba is in need of a major miracle, or she'll be forced to give up the only life she's known.

Neil is searching for freedom from the demons of his past.

Sage is in desperate need of help.

Could it be that what each one needs resides in the other?

Contains mature themes.

Amazing

I felt like this story happened too fast, but loved the way that things worked out. The story had me laughing, crying and just appreciating black love with a whole lot of kink. Uncle Lee Chester OMG 😲

One of the best in the series

This was brilliant, a beautiful, super spicy and funny fake marriage story of 2 people that were lost and found not only a soulmate but a kind of salvation. The way Alexandria wrote it was perfect, she dealt with serious issues, like depression and addiction, in a light sort of way, so the book didn’t feel heavy and dark at all.
It’s extremely and explicitly spicy 🌶 🥵 and the narration of some of the scenes were a bit ott and cringe worthy, but I love both of their voices enough not to let it bother me.
Love that we still got the rest of the family and his uncle too(he always cracks me up). There was a hint of political message and a heavy dose of the esoteric too, in fact it played a big role of the entire soulmates thing.
As always Jakobi Diem and Adenrele Ojo were perfect, not only they have amazingly sexy voices, but their interpretation of the characters is spot on.

GREAT END TO SERIES

Loved all of these books, and this last one doesn't disappoint. As well as Neil and Sage's story, we also get to see how the other characters from the previous four books are progressing. Uncle Lechester is STILL my favourite 🤣🤣🤣 Excellent narration again.
