Phenomenal!

I wasn’t sure about buying this audio book as stalker stuff isn’t usually my scene and I was concerned I would find Home Invasion triggering. However I’m so pleased I took the plunge because this book is phenomenal!

Ally, a trauma nurse, has her own history. Shes somewhat jaded by life, her hook-ups and her job, but seems to find pleasure in a social media site involving a man in a mask playing up his darkness to the camera. Josh, hacker, lives in the grey, has a horrendous backstory, has been in therapy for years and is concerned he’s like his father, has stalker tendencies and he is also the Faceless Man Ally is obsessed with. She wants to be chased down, he’s happy to oblige! What could possibly go wrong.

Circumstances bring them together in more of a “meet creepy” than “meet cute” and their relationship goes from there.

Yes this is a dark romance, but it’s also extremely funny. Josh is cute despite his obvious flaws, he’s caring and loving, and yes more than likely a sociopath, but a very appealing one. Ally is strong and independent, has a darker side and is probably also a sociopath, and their various kinks seem to suit each other. All seems to be going in the right direction, to the point where I’m thinking “there is almost half of this book to go, so where is it going to go?” and then things take a surprising turn!

It’s a really well crafted story, both characters are likeable, and it’s very funny, spice is off the charts. There are some potentially triggering things, but the humour somehow makes them less onerous. There is also a cat, who is also sociopathic, and very cute, and who doesn’t love a cat?

The narration is outstanding. Two of the best in the business plus it’s in duet; all narration should be in duet. Jacob Morgan is superb. He is so good at snark, and humour, and vulnerability. Elena Wolfe is excellent at humour, her timing is impeccable. Wish all audio books were narrated by these two.

Don’t be put off by the warnings (unless you are super sensitive) as the humour in this book lifts it out of the dark.

More than worth a credit.

DONT THINK .. JUST READ IT!!

Didn’t want to love this as it’s all over tik tok and social media but as someone who has read/listened to a lot of dark romance books .. this is my favourite so far! Just couldn’t stop listening to it and finished the full book in 3 days!! 10/10

Lights out

Funny, hot and an amazing story I love the male character and how soft and and thoughtful he is I also love how strong the female lead is and how her personality is quick and funny would honestly recommend, it’s a good dark romance book if you are just starting out and a good one even if this isn’t your first!!

My new no1 book

I cannot wait to listen to this again! By far thee best story I’ve ever listened to! Laugh out loud funny, storyline was the best, 10/10 for spice - which still held the humour! Narrators nailed it. Loved every single second of it. Fuming I binged it

Amazing start to end

The narrators set the scene and made it like I was there. It was a great book to listen to & the spicy scenes in this book was unreal absolutely amazing would 10/10 recommend this to anyone. Definitely deserves 5/5 spicy rating🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Dual narrator brings this to life

Check trigger warnings! Explicit, twisted but sweetly so. Narrators were brilliant and story was eye opening to an unknown kink!

best golden retriever stalker ever I need me a josh, spicy scenes are great and the banter between characters is hilarious 10/10 book so glad I did the audio Jason voiced it perfectly
