Lit Up

Loved the narration of Sadie Provost

Silver River, is a sleepy small town in Oregon where most of the young people move out of town as soon as they can. Valentine Sherwood finds herself one of the few youngsters in town that has not left. She is working in Mike’s Diner. Its run down, but busy . Working long hours, for poor pay and seeing her dye, has left her grumpy and fed up,

A new customer, with a beard, eye patch and tattooed arms who speaks to no-one and but has outbursts. Valentine and her best friend Sarah nickname the man Captain Brownbeard . When she bumps into Captain Brownbeard outside of the dinner he dares her to a series of tasks. Both find themselves out of their comfort zones .
Soon these two find themselves living their lives and relationship starts.
We have twists and turns.
