An excellent ressource on Bipolar Disorder
I loved how informative this audiobook is, I have learned a lot about bipolar disorder and mental health in general. This book provided a lot of useful information on bipolar disorder, treatment options, the importance of being in contact with a mental health professional and more. Last year, one of my friends was diagnosed and it with really hard for her, but also for me. I did not know how to be there for her or what to say. I wished I had listened to this audiobook before. If you or anyone you know is diagnosed with bipolar disorder, then this is a must. I Highly recommend this audiobook, it’s a fantastic resource.

Explosive Book
The audible" Living with Bipolar Disorder" I found to be an explosive piece which tries to demystify Bipolar Disorder. The issues around this condition were discussed in greater length. I can say with full confidence after listening to this audible I have learned a great deal about the condition. For instance, it is a condition of the brain such as mood episodes or periods which can be treated. The importance of structure and routine was discussed as a solution. Overall a useful resource that should be referenced when dealing with Bipolar Disorder.

Very Well Written
I got this to help a friend of mine who suffers from bipolar. After I read it, I gave it to her and now we work on the principles in this book together. The book explains the disorder and gives a lot of tools to help manage. I especially liked that it gave specific steps to manage specific episodes. This is a great book to help support anyone who has the disorder or those that are close to someone who is bipolar.

Very clear and applicable advise
Patricia Natpikia, in her book Living with Bipolar Disorder: The Most Effective Strategies for a Great Sense of Structure lays out the complicated world of bipolar disorder in an easy-to-understand, effective, working explanation for the listeners. I have a nephew with bipolar disorder, and my wife and I want to learn more about this so we can be better at helping him by getting a better understanding of the disorder and this book has opened our eyes to this disorder. It has helped us understand what these people are going through when they swing from the manic highs to depressing lows.
She gives real-world daily advice on how to understand the needs of someone who is bipolar and how to handle them. This book also gives great lifestyle advice on managing the disorder with holistic measures. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to strengthen their relationship with a friend or family member who has bipolar disorder.

Many Small Steps
This book contains some great information on Bipolar Disorder. The author provides insight for those that don't have it, but want to understand it better, and also some useful, concrete examples of techniques to manage it if you have been diagnosed.
Two of my favourite lines in this audiobook are that it's OK to slow down and try to understand yourself, and many small steps will get you where you want to go.
It was a very interesting listen for me. I think there may be undiagnosed members of my family that are bipolar. (I'm not a doctor.) And I also see similarities in the behaviour of my late alcoholic father.
Mental health issues are more common than people realize and much of the suffering is invisible and undiagnosed.
As the author says, it is important to seek help when you think you need it, and it's OK to ask for help.
This is full of great, non-judgmental support for those that have been diagnosed. I love how she says to be proud of your perfect imperfections. She wants to help listeners let go of the past and create new roads to a happier and more peaceful future.
There are great tips, such as keeping a diary/journal of your episodes, and examples for recognizing and understanding emotional triggers that cause you to be suddenly afraid or angry in a situation where you probably shouldn't be. This made me think of some of my own past situations where I experienced intense emotion that was out of context.
The author provides some great examples of challenging situations and tips for how to manage your thoughts and emotions.
I think this would be a valuable resource for both those affected directly, and those seeking to understand.

Great Book.
As a mental health Nurse, I've been hunting for a book just like this one. Before I read it. This book opened my eyes to the condition and showed me how I may assist my patients as well as myself, and effectively cope with my environment. It is packed with useful advice, and I can't wait to put it into practise so that my life and the lives of those under my care can be improved.

Hope beyond the disorder
For a long time I lived with someone I loved dearly who struggled with the challenges of bipolar disorder. When I came across this book, I knew I owed it to myself to have a listen and find out more about what lies behind the visible symptoms. This is a deep dive into what this disorder is and how to navigate the ups and downs that it brings. I wish I'd had this book at hand sooner, to be a better and more supportive partner. If you or someone you know is showing signs or diagnosed with BPD, it is definitely worth listening to this book.

Helpful and Motivating
This is the only book you need if you suffer from bipolar disorder or have family or friends with the condition. Patricia guides you from start to finish with diagnosis, acceptance, the introduction of methods to handle the condition, and how to build a successful future regardless of being a sufferer.
I was particularly impressed with the section on the importance of structure and routine in your life, as I have a close friend with bipolar disorder who struggles with this aspect of life. Patricia addresses the issue directly and educates you on implementing strategies to introduce habits to deal with the frustrations that people with bipolar encounter.
Patricia’s professionalism and experience are evident from the quality of the content of this book, and I highly recommend it to anyone who suffers from or is concerned with bipolar disorder.

Very practical guide to help with this disease
"Living with Bipolar Disorder" is a helpful guide for those who are living with bipolar disorder, as well as for their loved ones who want to better understand and support them. The book provides a comprehensive overview of the condition and its potential impact on daily life, as well as practical strategies and techniques for managing symptoms and enhancing overall well-being.
The author draws from her own personal experiences of living with bipolar disorder and offers valuable insights and advice for others who may be struggling with the condition. She also emphasizes the importance of structure, self-care, and support systems in managing bipolar disorder. One thing often overlooked is how family and friends react to people with bi-polar disorder and how discriminating it is. She mentions that often the suffering person is not invited to parties or family get togethers because people don't understand the disease. This is not only heartbreaking, but makes life much more difficult for the suffering person. Fortunately, Patricia has a lot of good advice for navigating such destructive behavior by others.
I must also mention that Abigail Morrison does a great job narrating this book. She has and engaging and very professional voice.
