Manhattan Mafia continues
Make me, Manhattan Mafia Book 2 by CD Reiss
Narration by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton
Another amazing job with book 2 of the series. Reiss is a queen of creating pulling and telling mafia romance. This one built up both Sarah and Dario. In this book they really opened up to one another about their truths. In doing so there relationship has become stronger. Sarah grows in learning the world she was sheltered from and her eyes are opened to what the Colonians have done and are still doing. She tries to find a way to bring about peace but when pushes she just wants her Dario and goes from a kitten to a lion.
Dario doesn’t know how Sarah has become so much more than what was his intention at the start. But he has become infatuated by his new wife.
This book has tons of action, shocking revelations, hot sexual encounters as well. Everything is coming together as Reiss can do so eloquently in her writing yet that cliffhanger is again shocking and will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat needed the finale. What will happen to these two people who seem to have accepted each other and have found love amongst all the violence in their world.
Amazing narration by two top actors. What an awesome team to have voiced this series. Can’t wait for more!

Wow
The first book was incredible but this one is even better, the continuation of the series finds more and more drama and secrets and lies coming through. There were times when i found that I was unable to continue with my house cleaning (when i normally listen to audio books) as the story was just so entertaining so i highly recommend that you set aside a day and just enjoy. Also I am so in love with this narration duet.

If you love dark romance, do not pass by this series.
This is book 2 in the series, and I cannot wait to move on to book 3 once it’s available. Sarah is now beginning to learn the truth about her once-cloistered existence with her family, and it will rock her to her very core. Dario is caught between wanting to shelter her, but wanting to give her some hard truths at the same time.
As dangerous as Dario can be, Sarah’s family is far more sinister and evil. Their type of revenge is beyond cruel and downright depraved. Sarah begins to understand why Dario is so hell-bent on their destruction, even as he is falling in love with her.
This book is so good- a fitting second book in this trilogy. Anxiously awaiting the third audio book in this series. I love CD Reiss- she writes dark romance with the best of them, and the narration by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton is absolutely sensational.

Make Me
When all you have ever known is to do as your told, it’s hard to break the habit. Learning new things is not easy, neither is learning your whole life is a lie. This book contains some graphic material, but without it you would never understand what monsters are hiding out and about.
Both narrators were fantastic as always and really brought this book to life!
