About this listen

Some people go to Hollywood to chase their dream. My Hollywood dream is in seat 4A.

After the stunt my ex pulled, no one would blame me if I swore off men forever, especially one like Mr Jay Anderson, Hollywood’s sexiest heartthrob.

Maybe undressing me with his striking blue eyes as I perform the safety demonstration on a flight to LA is normal behaviour for him.

Maybe not.

But I know one thing for sure, he should come with a warning label. Because once you meet a man like Jay Anderson, there is no going back.

With his dirty blonde hair and those eyes; he’s a beautiful, X-rated fairy-tale. But beauty is a magnificent smokescreen.

And a fairy-tale is just that…a tale. It’s never as simple as happily ever after, not when you’re meeting Mr Anderson.

Meeting Mr. Anderson is a steamy, standalone, contemporary romance intended for mature listeners.

Read this series, couldn't put the books down

Great series, but I felt that the female narrator was ok. just think it be better for the male narrator to have read more then a few lines.

A 2.75 Star Read and Listen.📖🎧

Meeting Mr. Anderson: The Men, Book #1
By: Elle Nicoll
Audiobook 🎧
(Read Using Kindle Unlimited)
Narrated by: Alastair Haynesbridge, Islay Jacobs
Length: 10 hrs and 42 mins

I wasn't sure throughout this book if I was enjoying it or not.🤷🏻‍♀️ The main couple seemed cute, but there were red flags flying all over the place, too. He kept too many secrets and got annoyed that she didn't trust him. She immediately assumed the worst, no matter what obstacles were put in front of them.🙈

It all worked out in the end with a lovely HEA.🙏🏼❤️
And as much as I want to know the story about Mr X, I'm not sure I can read another book like this, unfortunately.🫤 I did not enjoy the narrator at all.😢

great start to the series

I have been wanting to read these books for so long, and I am definitely not disappointed. Holly and Jay are perfect. I loved every second of the book.
The stroy had me hooked from the beginning, and I couldn't stop listening to it.

Jay is such a sweetheart 🥰.

The narrators brought the story to life perfectly, and I can't wait to jump straight into book 2.

Great narration, okay story, no dual pov

My biggest issue with this book is, that this is no dual pov. We hear from the H's pov via flashback to the past in a single short chapter. If I'd known, I wouldn't have purchased this. I find that books that lack dual pov, often have a somewhat self absorbed character. And unfortunately, it's the same issue here. The h breaks the H's heart twice, the 2nd time quite brutally. She comes across certain information, both times drawing the wrong conclusion and not even attempting to seek an explanation and any type of communication. Thus making decisions for both of them, no matter the hurt she's causing. She obviously knows better, so why should she care what the man she proclaims to love thinks. So it's hard to enjoy a story that's rather a bit bland, when the character itself is fairly terrible, and not even in a sexy way.

Good story line, much too long

I listened on Audible and mostly enjoyed the story, but it was about three or four hours too long. I understand misunderstandings are part and parcel in this kind of book, but honestly would anyone just leave instead of talking first. I got so frustrated with her that I was tempted to stop listening. If you like a story with more than its share of angst then this is for you.
