Amazing work 👏

Before reading this book I highly recommend first immersing themselves in any Incel forum. They are not super easy to find but also not super hard.
A few years back, when I first heard about Incels the idea was so bizarre I decided to see it for myself. It took me maybe an hour to find them.
I am not sure if I would comprehend this author's message to the full extent if earlier I didn't see for myself this sewer of ideology.
Word woman is not occurring there. We are foids, femanoids, the lowest, dumbest of creatures. Things practically. Hatred just pours and pours without end.
Red pillers or incels would say that the author misrepresented them. I say she showed them in the clear light, but without shock and disgust, their full image creates.
Since my initiation into the manosphere I educated myself with a sick fascination about not only Incels but also MGTOW, pick-up artists, and the black pill. I watched hours of Jordan Peterson videos. So I can confirm the quality of research in this book. It is all very well put together. I learned a lot of new information about manosphere relation with politics, law enforcement, and systemic radicalization of youth.
I highly recommend this source to learn about the topic.

Our boys need help!

An insight that I see in schools and amongst the youth. It’s very disturbing and hardly recognised for what it is. The boys are being pulled down a dark hole.

absolutely worth a listen.

Laura bates is clear, precise and easy to understand. This is some scary content but absolutely needs to be heard.
I whole heartedly recommend this book.

Beyond a feminist perspective...

After reading "Everyday Sexism" and reliving my childhood traumas that were normalised by English scoiety, I knew that anything following from Bates would be an interesting read.

I have not come across any literature that addresses or compiles these patterns of behaviour for: superior power, lack of accountability, entitlement and acts of terrorism about the demographics she refers to in her book.

One of the most eye opening books

I've lost count of the amount of times I have been told to buy this book, and I'm so glad I've now finished it. Completely eye opening. Shocking; but necessarily so. As a parent I feel such a need to educate myself as much as possible on topics that will greatly impact my children, and by far this book has really cemented some fundamental core values for me. I'm so grateful to Laura for sharing her experiences and her vast depth of knowledge, especially in these pretty scary times. This is a must read book 📖

Hard but important read

This book is essential in todays society where the threat of incels is rarely discussed. It has highlighted issues that I had no clue about and also helped me see the long term one psychological effects that it can have today. Laura Bates is incredibly brave for writing this.

This is a disgusting insight into the severity of male hatred.
Potentially stomach churning, not for the faint hearted.
Ignore the bad reviews as they’re by men. The irony of their words is lost on them!

Amazing book, everyone should read it

I read this book after seeing Laura Bates at the Blue Dot festival. This is an incredibly brave and brilliant book casting light on extreme misogyny. I know a number of boys and men who have read material on issues like false rape claims, spread by extremists, and are scared. This book explains where that material comes from and how to help boys and men who are at risk of being sucked into extremism without realising it. It will help you love and support the wonderful boys and men in your life.
