Summary

A full moon. A pack hunt. What could possibly go wrong?

The Hunter Sect that has been threatening the Midnight Pack has been defeated, and it's time for the new females to be welcomed into the pack officially. But there's a new threat on the horizon. One that will change everything.

This Midnight Pack novella starts directly after the events in Midnight Torment. There is a cliff-hanger at the end, which marks the start of the next stage of Pack books.

Great insight

Midnight Hunt was a great insight into pack life after midnight torment.
We get to see how the couples have settled into their new lives. The story starts with a welcoming ceremony for the new pack members to become permanent members within the pack. This part of the book was fantastic because it was so unique.

The pack then celebrates by going out on a hunt!
Well I’m going to leave it there because what follows just basically took me and rung me out.
Yes I screamed!!
Yes I shouted!!.
I also got a broken heart over the way this book played out for certain characters.
If you haven’t read the first three Midnight books get reading before you read this.
I challenge you not to love the midnight pack.
OH and I’m impatiently waiting for the next book.
The narration on these books is very good. I’m a big fan of this narrator as he has a great quality to his voice that makes the characters come to life.

Great novella

Loved the extra scenes and details we find out about the Midnight Pack. There is heartbreak and a greater bonding of the pack family. A perfect novella ❤️

Midnight hunt

This is book four in the series and new threat to the pack. Want starts off as a initially welcome joining hunt for the new mates to the pack soon turns to trouble for the pack. With the new threat to the pack that links to the previous books and that connects and leads you into the next three stories the way it end you want the next book at the ready.

Captivating and Surprising

Midnight Hunt is very well written. I actually forgot that it was a novella because the story was so rich. It was wonderful to experience going through being excepted into the pack with Ava, Gemma and Cassie. I loved the multiple points of view. There are a few twists in Midnight Hunt that definitely took me by surprise. The ending left me intrigued and eager to find out how things will ultimately turn out. Can’t wait for Jaden’s book.

Set up

It’s time to complete the pack bond. Midnight hunt gives us a glimpse at all the couples and a new villain to hate. Accepting mates and accepting the pack is just the beginning.

This book is an extra to the series and I wouldn’t recommend it as a standalone. The audiobook is in keeping with the series and done nicely.

Free audiobook with no obligation to review from the author. I’m really enjoying this series and look forward to the next instalment.

4.25 STARS, on the hunt for more ★★★★✩

This book is for you … even if you might not have enjoyed the previous book much. TW: r*pe, but this time framed as such and not an okay thing to do.

⤐ Overall.
Absolutely loved this novella as it is a pretty decent one. I always find the format tricky since I'm neither a fan of too short or extremely long books. Midnight Hunt, however, is a very good specibook, so to speak. It gives further insights into the life of Midnight Pack and has an interesting and fast-paced plot to offer to the reader.

Again, there is r*pe involved. Bodily functions aren't easily controlled, so just because someone rubbed your prick long enough for it to get hard doesn't mean you consent to the intercourse. I feel like male r*pe victims are widely underrepresented (in real life and in fiction) and am 'glad' this issue received attention.

I'm really excited to see how the story continues; it's going to be a tough challenge to make the collectors, a new party introduced at the beginning of the novella, look even more horrific than the hunter's sect.

I canNOT wait to continue the story because this was nothing more than a teaser of what's to come - I'm excited about Jaden and Sky' story.

⤐ What’s happening.
It is time for the new women in the pack - Cassie, Gemma and Ava - to become official members by participating in the Hunt. While following the tradition to welcome his new packmates, Jaden comes across a familiar scent at the borders of their territory, together with Isabella. They walk right into the trap and are abducted by collectors, a group of people even the hunters fear. Now, every minute counts to get them back.
