About this listen
'A superior medical thriller' GUARDIAN
'Darkly gripping' OBSERVER
You're trained to save the lives of others. But how far would you go to save your own?
Olivia, Laura and Anjali couldn't be more different. Inseparable since the first day of medical school, their bond has remained unbreakable. Years ago, they promised nothing would come between them - including the wild university party that forced them to make a deadly choice.
Now working as doctors in high-pressure jobs, with lives and families of their own, their secret binds them tighter still. But when an eerily similar tragedy affects their teenage children, the choice the three women face may not be one their friendship can survive . . .©2024 Christie Watson (P)2024 Orion Publishing Group Limited

Not What I Was Hoping For
I was so looking forward to this book, but despite the glowing newspaper reviews, I found it disappointing and far fetched. I almost gave up halfway through, but I stick with it….i shouldn’t have.

Really disappointing
I'd read quite a few glowing online reviews of this title. I appreciate the reader (Jo from Spooks), and as I'm trying to listen to more modern fiction, thought I'd give it a go. However, it was SO turgid I decided to give up after a few hours. The build-up to the 'what happened in the past' felt very contrived and downright annoying in its' drawn-out hints. Overly sentimental and just too 'breathy' for me. I usually try to keep on going but decided that life is too short....
