the reader has an incredible reading voice

Really good and fast piece story well narrated
Great narration, fast paced story, lots of action, believable characters and a few twist you didn’t see coming. Really can recommend it to anybody who likes thriller noir. No moment did I not feel the story move forward and have fun hearing it. I’m looking forward to the rest of his books.

OUTSTANDING!!!
How can this be Mr Cosbys first novel, every chapter is word perfect, a book with heart, violence that's as brutal as needed, funny and recommended as any book I've read this year. His next 2 books are just as good although this is my favourite. The best part of finishing this book is knowing there's a book being released in 2023.

The story and the narration are great
The previous books that I have listened too from Cosby were outstanding and this one is not far away either. The ‘Skunk’ character in the story is marvelous and it would be great to have the chance to listen to a whole book of his adventures!

S A Cosby is one of todays best thriller writers - all his characters are well formed and his story lines utterly believable if not jaw dropping . Adam Lazard-White makes his book jump out at you . A near perfect partnership .

Feels Real
All of it. I’ve listened to the Rimes books and enjoyed them. This is the second book I have read by SA Cosby, both books give another take on the injustices to black people in the south, but with an almost film noir thriller feel to it. I enjoyed both and will be buying the third. Loved the narration.
