About this listen
Michael knows what he wants. He wants a daddy.
When yet another attempt at a relationship fails, Michael decides to find himself his daddy. The one man that will care for him, nurture him, and love him for who he is. Twenty-six years old and successful in his career, Michael knows he’s missing out on life. He’s a quiet, introverted man with desires that seem too far out of his reach. Until he goes to Escape, one night.
Callum is tired of being lonely. He has everything to offer the right man. When 40-year-old Callum is encouraged to visit Escape, his hopes are high, but his expectancy of finding the perfect man is low...until he sees a young man nervously looking around the club.
Everything about him ticks Callum’s boxes. Shorter than his six-foot frame with blond curls that cry out to be stroked and a look of anxious longing on his face. Callum is transfixed.
With only a few words exchanged, the two men are hooked, eager to explore everything they have ever dreamed of. Is this a life they can fulfill, or will they find too many obstacles in their way?
My Kind of Man is an MM romance, with an age gap, a very caring daddy, and a boy who craves it. Mild domination/ submission with ABDL and full to the brim with love. This book was previously released as by AG Silver.

New Everything to me in this book!
This is a complete new genre to me - in books and real life. It’s not my kind of kink - but I have no problem to listening to it. A good story.
The narrator Christopher Solon did a wonderful job with all the voices and I hope to listening to him again.
The author JJ Harper is new to me and now I want to listen to the rest in this serie.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

An enjoyable listening
I have to admit it was my first age-play and first daddy kink book. I decided it is not my cup of tea, so maybe also the last one but I wanted to give it a try and it was a good book to do it with. JJ's writing style is enjoyable, the characters are real and loveable, and the story is interesting, I haven't feel it flat or boring anywhere. I liked Callum and Mickey very much, and it was good to see how their relationship worked itself out from the first sparks between them. Because looks is just one thing the true value lies within.
This was also my first audiobook from Christopher Solon but definitely not the last! I liked his voice and performance very much!

Interesting story
I really like JJ Harper's insightful writing style and this book was again great writing.
Mickey is looking for a daddy who also lives this lifestyle. He quickly meets Callum in a club who is looking for a Little. The two quickly find each other and I was wondering where the story was going. This is where the author really surprised me with her unforeseen twists that made the plot interesting. You could feel the emotions right away while listening to it.
Mickey and Callum are very likeable characters that you can't help but love. I liked the development of their relationship with all the ups and downs. The two are authentically described and I liked the insecure and vulnerable sides of Daddy Callum as much as strong sides of the businessman Michael.
The audiobook was narrated by Christopher Solon, whose voice I really enjoyed listening to. He has a pleasant speaking pace and brings the characters to life, giving each protagonist a distinct voice and personality. It was a pleasure to listen to him.
I highly recommend this audio book to lovers of daddy stories!

Enjoyable
This is a book that I wasn't sure about at first, and then got more invested in as the storyline developed. I think this might have been because Mikey and Callum become a Daddy and his boy within the first few chapters and I wondered where else the story could go.
A strength is that Mikey and Callum are extremely likeable characters. I love that Daddy Callum has a few uncertain moments and isn't afraid to let Mikey see him vulnerable. Mikey, as Michael, is a successful businessman yet thoroughly embraces his little side. I have read ABDL stories before, but this is certainly the one where it is featured most. I am also intrigued by the addition of the Stefan/Mikey side story and how easily it is accepted and forgiven by Callum.
I enjoyed the narration by Christopher Solon who speaks clearly and at an acceptable pace. I liked his character voices and found it easy to follow the changes in speaker without getting lost. I must admit that, despite the use of words like diaper and binky, I did wonder what the narration would be like with a British accent.

Really hot story
This is a hot daddy/little story with great characters and an intriguing plot. I loved mikey and his daddy but the support characters are equally wonderful. The narration is great and really brings the characters to life. I will definitely look out for the next book.
