About this listen

From the Amazon.com and Wall Street Journal #1 bestselling authors of the Zodiac Academy series Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti.

The dragons are lost.

The elements are at war.

And fate doesn't favour the wicked.

Cover and blurb coming soon.

***This is an enemies to lovers romantasy series set in the same world as Zodiac Academy, but it's a dark and villainous tale of its own. You haven't met tainted souls like these before or enemies that hate each other as deeply as these characters do. Book 1 in the series will leave your heart raw and bloody. You'll be left gasping for breath and aching for more of the dark and twisted Fae who lurk between the pages and they might just be irredeemable...***

I'm hooked!

4,5⭐️

What a great start!
I was unsure if the sisters would be able to top their series within Solaria, and oh boy was I wrong. This society is brutal, and makes Solaria look like all unicorns and rainbows.
I love the new characters and the new orders we are introduced to. The storyline is intriguing and I love the mystery aspect of it.
The last few chapters had me hanging on the edge of my seat, clutching my bleeding heart! I need the next book ASAP.

The audio performance was superb. Bridget captured Everest's anger and Vesper's arrogance perfectly.

This book is just amazing

I loved the dual pov from two very different fmc, both are strong in there own ways and both equally as interesting and I found myself excited for their two story's to meet. the narrator did a fantastic job. I have read other book series from these authors and this book is just as exciting. the story is in the same world but is quite different which makes it unpredictable and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Took a while but when it hits…

I couldn’t get fully into this book at first. I persisted since I enjoy the authors other works but I didn’t feel invested in the characters or the world. The narrators were amazing though and still brought the characters to life, even if I didn’t feel much for them. However as the story went on and I got to know the characters better they’ve become some of my favourites. I feel such emotion for Vesper and all she’s been through and curious about Everest and her abilities. I can’t wait for the next!

Amazing start to the series!

Vesper & Everest
Fantasy romance
War college
Enemies to lovers
Forbidden Romance
Book 1 in a new series

Wow. Just wow.

What a way to start a series!!

So this book is much more fantasy than the sisters other books and there is a lot of world building going on! I feel like I definitely need to do a reread of this one prior to book 2 releasing because I'm definitely going to forget some of the details!

I love the little Zodiac Easter eggs in here too! (No you don't need to read Zodiac, this is a totally separate series)

The ending and plot twist though! I was shocked. I reread the chapter because I thought surely I must have read it wrong, but nope!!!

Another absolute masterpiece by my favourite authors ❤️❤️❤️

The audiobook is another fantastic listen! Jake and Bridget are some of my favourite audio narrators and they never fail to deliver!!

Stunning start to this epic new series

I didn't really know what to expect from this new series. I knew it was set in the world of Solaria, the same as Zodiac Academy (but no need to have read that series) so assumed I'd like it, but I found this first instalment truly gripping, I absolutely LOVED it.
This series feels more like epic Romantasy than others by the authors - place and geography are more significant than in other series and the world building is done really well. Its a big bold setting and it feels like the scene is set for some high drama to come.
There are some great morally grey characters and I really enjoyed how the main players developed across the book. There's the usual mix of strength, love and humour that the authors write so well.
But as usual with these authors, they seem to live to rip the heart out of their readers/listeners and this new series is clearly no different! That ending!!! I'm so excited about what's going to happen next in the plot though, that I almost forgive them (almost).
The narration from Bridget and Jake was wonderful, as it always is with this talented duo. Mainly Bridget in this book, she is just so good at adapting her tone and timing for the different characters, it's a pleasure to listen to her.
There are so many questions that need answering and this series is only just getting started. I'm counting down the days until the next book!

As always, their books are just the next level of crushing despair and darkness and I love it. Absolute!

Phenomenal start to series

phenomenal start to series

Wow! The authors have done it again. The world building is incredibly detailed and helped to form vivid pictures in my head. Love the strength and resilience of both Vesper and Everest, both so unique but with such similar grit.

I laughed, I cried and I raged!! Love this new world the authors have created.

There are so many twists and turns in this! I couldn’t put it down! Cannot wait for book 2.
