About this listen

The number one best-selling series that Audible listeners call “wonderfully entertaining”, “packed with humor, geek references and thought-provoking storylines”, and performed by “a true master story teller and actor” returns as the Bobs face their deadliest challenge yet.

The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all.

But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy. Sure, it could settle the Fermi Paradox for good (and what Bob doesn’t want to solve a mystery of the universe?). But it also reveals a threat to the galaxy greater than anything the Bobs could have imagined.

Just another average day in the Bobiverse.

the stakes keep getting higher but Bob is always Bob.

A brilliant continuation to the story. Its a little short and feels slightly rushed at times but is absolutely full of interesting concepts. The bobiverse is still going strong, if you liked the previous titles it's an instant must buy.

Another good book in the Bobiverse

Another good 5th novel in the series
but not as fantastic as the first 3..
enjoyable and worth listening to and as always Ray Porter gives us a magnificent performance as the Bob's..but it lacks the danger and menace of the first novels..in those you had the idea that certain Bob's were in genuine danger at times..i didn't feel that in this novel..that being said i can't wait for the next novel to come out as this does leave us in no doubt that like the first novel's this is part of a longer story line

Great Book, Felt like filler

If it was a standalone book, i would be alot more negative however the book definitely isnt written poorly, it finishes off some story lines and opens the path for new ones. Given how the last book finished it is unsurprising that the book had to start a new main focus. great book though mabye the worse in the bobiverse universe but still a great book

Fantastic - A return to space and development of technology

I enjoyed this instalment much more than the last. Heavens River had some interesting developments but I felt it spent too much time focused on the Quinlan adventure.

Not til we are lost is a return to space, focusing on further exploration and development of technology, while still including some of those deltan/quinlan type adventures.

Great performance from Ray Porter as always!

A must listen for any sci-fi fan

The Bobiverse is by far my favourite series of books. Entertaining, epic and masterfully performed by Ray Porter. After finishing this latest book, it looks like I'll be going back to book 1 (for the umpteenth time) to experience the whole journey again, again.

Better than the last one

I have been listening to the adventures of the Bob's for a few years now, have to say i liked this more than the last one and ends on a cliffhanger. Just a shame all that terra forming effort might have gone to waste, perhaps they can invent some sort of shields? Guess i have to wait another year or so for the next one.
