Summary

The number one best-selling series that Audible listeners call “wonderfully entertaining”, “packed with humor, geek references and thought-provoking storylines”, and performed by “a true master story teller and actor” returns as the Bobs face their deadliest challenge yet.

The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all.

But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy. Sure, it could settle the Fermi Paradox for good (and what Bob doesn’t want to solve a mystery of the universe?). But it also reveals a threat to the galaxy greater than anything the Bobs could have imagined.

Just another average day in the Bobiverse.

Sci-fi without forced conflict/despair

What I love about these books is that the Bobiverse isn't always hanging at a knives edge. Even large problems are fairly realistic in how they are approached.

Is there tension? Sure. Are there problems that need solving? Galore. Does the hero need to fight through the pain to defeat the bad guy or we're all doomed this very second? Thankfully no.

I love these books and as long as he keeps pumping them out I'll keep buying them. They're interesting, novel and thoughtful.

Bob is my hubby

Hits the spot every time. Im not the same age as original Bob so I don't get all the references but the ones that I do get are truly beautiful and makes me wanna be a Von Neuman probe every time.

Enjoyable but missing context confusing

Having read all the Bobbyverse series a very long time ago I found this book a good extension but there were so many references to historical events without any refresher, that it distracted from the overall story. Having said that there were a few times when I laughed out loud

Another breathtaking addition to the Bobiverse.

A more relaxing pace than previous installments, but no less thrilling.

Again I am left

I loved it

I listened to it when not sleeping or working. I will probably be listening to it many times eagerly awaiting the next instalment. Thanks Dennis and Ray. Great job!

Good first half of a book that isn't finished

This feels like the first have of a bigger book that has filler stories (such as the dragons) added to pad the run time. What we got was good, mysterious and with great twists, but it's all set up. Combined with the long time between the last book that was made worse due to audible messing with the schedule makes it feel like we were given a sneak preview or the author was forced to release what he had to keep the fan's happy and willing to buy the next one. Overall I'm happy I listened to this but wish it was either release sooner or held back later and added to the next installment.

Another solid book

Once more a solid chapter land on the bobiverse raising the stakes and building on what was already there
