Summary
On location in Blairstown: The Making of Friday the 13th covers the creation, planning, and filming of the iconic 1980 film, Friday the 13th in a way that no other film has been documented before. Through the memories of the cast and crew, many speaking for the first (and last) time, as well as previously-undiscovered production information and materials, On location in Blairstown takes the listener "on location" and back in time to 1979 for the filming of Friday the 13th and behind the scenes for all of the adventures, conflicts, and dramas that went into the making of one of the most enduring and popular horror films in history.

Not much new here
Despite trying to be a definitive account of the making of Friday the 13th, as a fan I didn't learn much new here. As a previous reviewer has noted, and ironically what I'm about to repeat, is that it's very repetitive. So many times, the book would describe something, then quote someone describing that thing, then quote a second person describing that same thing... it's not a bad book, it just made it a bit of a chore sometimes - despite listening at 1.10 speed, as the narrator tended to have a slow delivery too.

enjoyed but became repetitive
the performance was good, the narrator did a good job, but it was to long. Alot if stuff felt repetitive.
