About this listen

Laurel Ferrara wouldn’t know a happy ending if she fell over it; of course her whirlwind wedding was always going to end in disaster. But she can’t just walk away.

From the moment she is summoned back to Sicily the shivers of unease set in. The command comes from legendary billionaire Cristiano Ferrara, the husband she can’t forget - but it might as well have come from the devil himself.…

Spoiled by the male voice

Storyline drawn out and I don’t often say this but reading the book would have been preferred

Great Mills & Boon

Really enjoyed this book as I missed it in paperback version. The narrator was very good putting the appropriate expression and emotions in to the story.

I will be honest I like this type of book but it is not for everyone. I enjoyed the plot of the story. A really good listen

disappointed

I have read a few books from this author before and really enjoyed them.
However, this book was so annoying that I just could not bring myself to finish it due to getting so frustrated with it.
The frustration is that she just acts like an ungrateful, spoiled child.
The whole book is her basically throwing a tantrum and saying no or complaining, no matter how much her husband does for her to try and make up for his mistakes.
The narrator, though, was good.
I will still read books from this author again as I have enjoyed all their books before now.

Too boring

You know from the very start it will have a happy ending and nothing in the story is a surprise. Listened to it to send myself to sleep which it did easily. Predictable, badly narrated tosh
