The perfect fantasy story!
I adored every second of this audio book, Elspeth was an incredible character and the world building and magic system were the perfect combination of classic fairy story elements and completely fresh twists! And don't get me started on Ravyn. The slow burn romance was pure perfection. Highly recommend to fans of fantasy romance!

The original storyline
This was a surprisingly good listen. I have the paperback but have never gotten to it on my TBR. When I saw it on audible I thought, meh, why not?
Narration was enjoyable, the actor very talented and each character given personality.
I’m completely engaged and will be getting book 2 asap.

the best narrators
I loved the book! the romance could be a little bit more slow burnt, but overall it was a great story! the narration, though was absolutely perfect!
