Essential help for overwhelmed new mums
I can’t recommend this audiobook enough for new mums or mums to be. I wanted to share it with a friends daughter because we had a very good friend that really struggled and I knew that its something that has been really worrying her. What really stood out to me was how empathetic and relatable the advice felt—like a trusted friend sharing her wisdom but also, the sense that it really is normal and not to somehow feel you are failing in any way.
Listening to this felt like a personal pep talk which doesn’t sugarcoat the challenges, but it gives you clear steps to feel more confident, calm, and supported. The guidance on managing emotions and hormones really resonated and helped will help anyone feel more in control during and the sleep training tips will be invaluable not to mention, the recipes which are quick, nourishing, and perfect for low-energy days.
If you’re worried about, or experiencing, those exhausting first weeks and need practical help and reassurance, this is a brilliant listen. It’s empowering, supportive, and full of ideas you can use right away. You’ll finish it feeling like you’re ready to handle whatever motherhood throws your way.

A Must Read For New Moms!
Being a new mom while some of the most wonderful moments of your life can also feel really overwhelming at times. This was a compassionate and understanding voice of reason showing us how to navigate the first days of motherhood. The book gives practical and essential advice on how to manage self-care while taking care and learning about your new born child. I found the part about eating warm and soothing foods interesting and learning about how a mother's body temperature naturally drops after child birth, which a didn't realize but looking back at my own experiences makes complete sense.
