Such a great way to retire!
My grandparents have been talking about RV life for quite some time and I thought they were just talking to talk but then they started to actually make plans of selling their home and getting set up for an RV life. So I wanted to know all the hubbub about it as it just seems like a super scary thing to do to give up your home and live in an RV. Listening to this book, I certainly learned way more than I even knew went into planning for an RV life but this book is so detailed that I recommended it to my grandparents as well. They wanted a way to be able to travel but not just live in hotels and it's not always about the destination that they are headed to but they wanted to enjoy the time travelling to their destinations.
The book doesn't just focus on all the awesome things about RV life but also gives you things to look out for and to be prepared for. RV life is not for everyone but that's what I like about the book. It gives you the pros and cons so you can make those decisions before you get too invested. A couple of things I learned about is if you are traveling, you still need to establish proof of residency, and choosing the right place can lead to financial savings. Also, the author gives amazing guidance on healthcare plans and understanding RV electricity and water supply. The author even talks about what it's like to be a pet owner on the road.
I feel way more informed and honestly way more comfortable with my grandparents taking on this kind of life and I cannot wait to see what their adventures bring to them.

great guide
I was interested in purchasing a Recreational Vehicle as I'm about to be receiving an inheritance from my grand parents soon and this book has helped me determine exactly what to look for when it comes time to purchase. I had little knowledge about the types of RV's available and this book has given me a thorough understanding of my options. It has also helped me understand many important aspects of RV living such as maintenance and where to get my mail sent to. I highly recommend this book for anybody who is seriously interested in the RV life as it'll cover the basics of what you need to understand.

Retirement in an RV?
Living out your retirement days in an RV has always fascinated me. I've toyed with the idea for a few years, reading books and watching YouTube videos about it. While it excites me, I've never fully committed to taking the plunge. I picked up this book with the hope that it might push me toward embracing the open road.
The author gives some compelling reasons for choosing RV life in retirement. What appeals to me most is the chance to see more of America and meet new people. But, of course, I have concerns, especially about finding a good place to park for the night and handling things like water, electricity, and internet on the go. As I've gotten older, I've found that my physical mobility has declined, and I worry about the physical work involved in setting up an RV. The author wisely emphasizes the importance of choosing the right RV to reduce risks. Towing a trailer, for instance, isn't something I'd be comfortable with.
As you can see, I'm still unsure about the whole RV retirement concept. However, the author does a great job of laying out the pros and cons and addressing all the possible issues. Even the cost estimates he provides seem reliable. This book is a useful resource for anyone considering the idea of retirement on the road.

This audiobook is a must-listen for anyone considering the adventure of RV living and the open road in retirement. As a listener dipping my toes into the RV lifestyle, Williams' book makes me feel like my retirement dream of the RV life is doable. The ten fundamental principles are informative and easy to digest. Williams has a knack for breaking down complex concepts into easily digestible nuggets, making them accessible for RV rookies like myself. The personal touch and anecdotes shared throughout the book make it feel like a conversation with a seasoned friend rather than a manual.
