Omg I have all the feels for this book!!
My heart ached & is still aching I devoured this book in a few days. I agree with some of the other reviews it probably could have done with a little more plot & information following on from the first book. But did I still love this book 100% yes! I am so here for this love story it is just heart breaking I need them to have a happy ending together though please!!! My heart can’t take another book of angst like these 2 books have given me. I need more happy scenes together & and amazing conclusion to their love story!

I feel numb in the best way possible... said no one.
I loved this book, I didn't want to put it down (sadly I had to due to real life) I was so happy to read Pae and Kai again, I had missed them so much, this book took me on an emotional roller coaster that I ended it throwing my book due to the heartbreaking ending... AGAIN! Kai sadly puts his duty first for 3/4 of the book before he was finally honest with how he feels for Pae, this book made me laugh, cry, roll my eyes in frustration, gasp and smile... the only thing I wish was in the book was Mak but I'm hoping he'll make an appearance in the 3rd book and I feel he and Pae can grieve Adena together.
I do wish Lenny was in the story a little more as I was excited to see my sweet cinnamon roll so I hope he and the others will make an appearance in the 3rd book as well.
I am looking forward to the 3rd book, I just don't appreciate how Lauren makes me feel numb and leaving us on cliff hangers I have to wait another year for.

Ending made up for slow start.
Took a while to get into but thats how I also felt about the first book. Didnt take as long to get into as Powerless though. until the middle of the book it can be a little slow but towards the end I couldnt put it down.
I am absolutely shook at the ending. Which is very abrupt by the way. With 10 minutes to go I couldnt see how they were going to tie up the ending but safe to say the ending had me shocked!
Didnt see that coming at all. I need book 3 now! 😬😬

Unreal and that ending! Cannot express how much I love this series. The narrators were amazing and it was good to have a seperate voice for Kitt this time round

Well that was like crack. Didn’t think I could be more obsessed with Kai and Pae after Powerless but THIS. It was silly and angry and fun and thoughtful. Oh they’re just so on a level with each other.
The ending?!!!!😵🤯😵💫 Ms Roberts. Imma’gunna need more please.
So we all think Pae is half and half right. Not so ordinary after all👀👀👀
