About this listen
Reborn and robbed of all his power. He must get it back. He will be an Archmage again.
Betrayed and banished by the capricious Elemental Gods who gave him his magic, Saul awakens in a new body, a new time, and a new life.
One he never wanted.
Saul was at the peak of his power. As Archmage of Keldor and Commander of the Emperor’s military might, he carved a bloody path of victory across the whole of the known world, uniting the warring factions into the greatest empire the world had ever seen.
Now, he’s nobody. A man out of his time. He has nothing except memories of his past life, and the mysterious System, granted to him by the Trickster God Sarkur.
Saul must learn the System and rebuild his magic from the ground up. It won’t be easy, but Saul has one goal in mind. He’s out for revenge.
Don't miss this action-packed Reincarnation LitRPG from DB King. Saul the Archmage Reborn must untangle a web of myth, magic, betrayal, and friendship to fulfil his destiny. Will the path lead him to ultimate power, or to the complete destruction of the universe and everything in it?

One of the best LitRPG I've read for a while
Definitely one of the best listens for a long time. Great story, great characters and well narrated. Can't wait for the next instalment
Story is very intriguing but has built up very well in the first book. I like the main character and am enjoying the progression and his gain in power

Underdeveloped MC
Made it through although i neerly stopped a few times. The MC { main character) is all-over the place, there background starts with a street rat, a General, an Archmage and is the right hand man to an Emprer with whom he poot on the thrown as well as being his best friend.
I would have enjoyed the story more if the Author hade included any of these archetype into the MC, insted we get a former streat rat who talks like he is enrolled in a university and never acts as though he has had a hard day's living in his life.
A General who within the first 30 minutes abandons the army to act as a solo infiltrator, then spend most of the book working in a small unit.
And a Archmage who's magic system is replaced with a different version, operating on different ruleset than the one he spent a cupple of decades working with.
Lastly the MC with these archetypes at the start of the book is in his 40s and alongside his best friend the Emperor who is only 2 years older. lead the army to conquered the lands, founded a magic academy, built the road infrastructure for the empire.
In conclusion, If you looking for a book to listen as background noise ( as the Author does rehash areas often) you may enjoy this. Although I made it threw the book, I will not be continuing the series.
