About this listen
A Powerful Novelization from Best-Selling Author Angela Hunt
Epic in scope yet deeply personal, this novelization offers a unique perspective on the story of the resurrection.
Roman Tribune Clavius is assigned by Pilate to keep the radical followers of the recently executed Yeshua from stealing the body and inciting revolution. When the body goes missing despite his precautions, Clavius must hunt it down. His investigation leads him from the halls of Herod Antipas to the Garden of Gethsemane and brings him in touch with believer and doubter alike. But as the body still remains missing, Clavius commits to a quest for the truth - and answers that will not only shake his life but echo throughout all of history.

True to the film with added content
Very nice to hear what the character's thoughts are and perspectives compared to the film and i must admit that the added content is very different and actually adds more to a already rich story without subtracting anything away yet adding more very well dine and narrators are spot on with the passion and energy of the roles they portray if you liked the movie then this is definitely worth a listen and if you want to see the movie then tbis is also pretty good to. Listen to before seeing it as you cab apply what the thought process is in some scenes of the film 5*s for this one

Excellent all round - so much better than the film
This was a really excellent production with 2 narrators .The male narrator gave Clavius a wonderful voice which set him apart as a Roman. The female narrator was also excellent and bought her character alive. I often find female narrators grating and whiny, but not in this case (I say that as a woman). There is a major character in the book which was not in the film and this made the story so much more interesting and complete. I will be listening to this one again in the future.

Different and interesting perspective
enjoyed the unusual telling of the resurrection story from the perspective of a hebrew girl and roman tribune. Intend seeing the film version.

Beautiful
Read so well, a wonderful retelling of the greatest story of all time. Great character development and poetic license in the characters of Rachel and Clavius.
