When her father gets the guns he withdraws the payment and thinks life will go on as normal. Nik has oil wells in the east and they are bombed. He travels there for answers and he nearly escapes with his life. When home war is about to begin. He kidnaps Kat at a club. He tells her a secret, why shes there. She makes a decision. He makes a decision. They come to an agreement. They become close. Nik has a meeting with a rival and gives warning. Her family is attacked. Its a trap for Nik. They retaliate. Theres an ambush. Nik is in the fight for his life. There are more meetings with more rivals. Nik is in another fight with another rivals son, last one standing. A family affair. OMG WOW what a story. So much mafia chaos. So much mafia passion. So much mafia family drama. So much mafia rivalry. Great read. Well written. Loved it.
