Summary

Avery Nelson never imagined she’d find herself a hostage in Afghanistan. She isn’t the kind of woman to sit in a corner and cry, but she can’t deny it’s a welcome relief when the Navy SEAL she’s secretly been crushing on back in California suddenly appears to help her out.

Cole “Rex” Kingston has saved his fair share of women over his time as a SEAL, but no mission has ever seemed as important as the one to find nurse Avery Nelson. Digging the woman out of the rubble of a mountainside in Afghanistan hammered home to them both how short life is and they waste no time in acting on their attraction.

But someone isn’t happy that Avery didn’t die while overseas and will do whatever it takes to make sure she doesn’t live to talk about what she might’ve heard and seen while deployed.

Securing Avery is the fifth book in the SEAL of Protection: Legacy Series. Each book is a standalone, with no cliffhanger endings.

Securing Avery

Savannah Peachwood is so perfect to narrator this book.

WOW... each book in this series just gets better and better.

Avery is a Navy Nurse who is deployed before Rex builds up the courage to ask her out. Avery is kidnapped and instead of siting back , she is just about to free herself when Rex and Phantom find her ..... and that is just a small part of this brilliant story. We have one kickass nurse but strong and loyal Seals. I loved the fact we got to know Phantom and so look forward to his story. Just brilliant.

Excellent, as usual!

This is Avery and Rex's story. I love the way Susan Stoker can make you believe in her characters right from the first page. This audio book was narrated by Savannah Peachwood whose voice I find brings the story to life! Just got to wait for the next one now!
