Editor reviews

"The Adventure of the Second Stain", included in Arthur Conan Doyle's collection The Return of Sherlock Holmes (1903-1904), finds the famed detective back from the dead (all great sleuths must at one point or another fake their own deaths), and in retirement as a bee-keeper on the Sussex Downs. Dr. Watson, however, is still keen on publishing Sherlock Holmes's forensic science cases. After finally obtaining Holmes' permission to make public "the most important international case which [Holmes] has ever been called upon to handle", he treats Holmes fans to this feast of high-stakes European murder and intrigue.

Golden Voice winner Edward Raleigh knows the ins and outs of the titular character, as well as a host of other characters in the detective drama.
