Summary
Brave knights. Cunning bandits. Fire-breathing dragons. Forbidden lovers. Happily-ever-afters.
3 great stories in one box set collection!
Don’t believe what they tell you about Robin Hood, outlaw of Sherwood Forest. There never was such a man. But there is a woman, and that’s me, Robynne: fox shifter, master archer, and jaded outlaw with a fierce desire for justice.
The legends are just as wrong about the Merry Men. Little John is a stubborn, muscle-bound bear shifter — and not at all little in all the best places. Friar Tuck is a sexy-as-sin lion shifter whose dreams of becoming a knight are dashed by family commitments. Now, he’s praying for a miracle — and a little action. Any action.
And when it comes to women like Willa Scarlet and Maid Marian… Well, I’ll let those heroines tell their own stories when they find a spare moment from kicking asses…
A steamy, suspenseful paranormal romance series that corrects all the errors of the Robin Hood legends. If you enjoyed the humor of The Princess Bride and the action-packed romance of Outlander, you’ll love this fresh new twist on a classic, complete with brave knights, cunning bandits, fire-breathing dragons, and forbidden lovers.
This three-story bundle includes Book 1, Tempting the Sheriff, Book 2, Tempting the Outlaw, and Book 3, Tempting the Maiden. Get your copy of Sherwood Forest Shifters today!

Robin Hood But Not What You Expect
It is great to see this wonderful Series all together in one place.
Tempting the Sheriff - Robbin and Daniel
This is the story of Robin Hood, but not the story we all know and love. Robin is a woman, and not only that she’s a fox shifter. The sheriff of Nottingham is her fated mate and a dragon shifter. Are you intrigued good because you’re going to love this story.
Robin was forced to leave her home, and with nowhere else to go she joined her younger brother Robert in Sherwood Forest. Robert and his band of Merry Men were eking out an existence, living off the land and for the most part behaving themselves. That is until the day they decided to rob a stagecoach. They did this without Robbin’s knowledge or approval.
When this robbery took place, the new Acting Sheriff of Nottingham came riding across the ridge. Will he stop them or when he realises that his fated mate is close by and that Robert her brother is leading the robbers will he let them go?
Daniel, the new Acting sheriff lets them go and later meets with Robin, where he tells her he has only been sheriff for one day and has no intention of carrying on the cruel acts perpetrated by his predecessor. Can she trust him?
I’m not going to say anymore because it would ruin the story what I will say is that the story is original, well written, and you will adore the characters. Not to mention the palpable steaming chemistry between the fox and the dragon.
Tempting the Outlaw - Willa and John
This series gives a wonderful, intriguing twist to the tale of Robin Hood we are used to hearing, this second book takes place in December 1193 in Nottingham, England, and tells the story of John Little, a bear shifter who doesn't trust humans. He's about to meet his fated mate, whether he wants to or not! John is Robynne's Second in Command, years ago he found himself trapped in his bear form in a bear trap and was freed by a human girl with bright red hair. Whilst Robynne is away from Sherwood John and the band of merry men hold up a coach intending to take all the valuables on board but as soon as John sees one of the passengers he recognises her as the girl from the forest who freed him all those years ago. So in an attempt to repay her good deed and much to the chagrin of his fellow bandits he insists on letting the woman's coach pass through Sherwood without taking any of the treasure it held.
The red-headed human inside the coach is Willa Scarlett, a feisty, strong-minded woman who has been brought up by an equally strong-minded mother to never depend on a man. She had been tasked by her mistress to take a considerable amount of treasure through Sherwood so that it would find its way into the hands of Robynne's band to help pay King Richard's ransom and keep it out of the hands of his evil brother Prince John. But when the. outlaws fail to take any of the priceless treasures intended for them Willa sets out for Sherwood taking a few items of treasure with her intending to make contact with Robynne and complete her mission.
Unfortunately, the first person she encounters is John Little who challenges her to a fight before he will allow her to cross the river! What follows is an amusing, exciting and entertaining story peopled by engaging mostly loveable characters. Anna Lowe's writing style is so descriptive and some of the scenes between our fated mates had me laughing out loud whilst others had me reaching for a cool drink! Their chemistry is palpable and the love they come to share is genuine and deep. I found myself amused by Willa’s reaction to discovering John’s bear side. I loved Willa and John they were perfect for each other.
Tempting the Maiden - Marion and Tuck
Tempting the Maiden is the third book in the Sherwood Forest Shifters Trilogy and whilst the main story revolves around Maid Marian and Friar Tuck it isn't only their story because this book ties up all the loose ends we were left with in the two earlier books and completes Willa and John's story and we find out how Robyn and Daniel can finally be together and there's even a happy ever after for Robyn's brother Robert!
Marian's a shifter, but you'll be surprised by what type, she's been called the fairest maiden in the land but she's far more than her looks, she's loyal, clever, strong-willed, smart, brave, stubborn and can wield a sword and dagger as well as, if not better than, most men. Friar Tuck is as we know not suited to life in the monastery but as the third son of his noble family, it's expected that he takes his vows. Something he's dreading but something he can see no honourable way of avoiding. On the upside, his position within the clergy has allowed him to help Robyn in the past and being a good man with a caring and thoughtful personality the help he gives to the poor of the parish is sorely needed, but he yearns to be a knight......
Marion and Tuck met in February 1194 when Marian took refuge in the library of Tuck's monastery to hide from and avoid being forced to marry Prince John. Tuck discovered her hiding place when he went to retrieve something from the library one night and he found himself on the wrong end of her dagger. The connection made that night was one Tuck felt could go nowhere, she was of noble birth and the God-Daughter of King Richard whilst he was a penniless third son. But you can't fight destiny and they continued to meet in secret. But then a traitorous monk makes it necessary for her to change her plans. Marion along with Tuck sneak out of the monastery under cover of darkness and set off to rally the noblemen still loyal to King Richard.
They travel to the Manor of Lord and Lady Winthrope where they all make a plan to finally stop Prince John. But.........
This trilogy is a phenomenally entertaining retelling of the tale of Robin Hood. The author's imaginative writing style, vivid scene descriptions and character-building are engaging and as always she's included many surprising twists and turns which will keep you on the edge of your seat. That coupled with the wonderful narration performed by Kelsey Osborne, who has narrated all of the books I have listened to by Anna Lowe and a new narrator, for me at least, Chris Merlin really added to my enjoyment of this exciting and enthralling conclusion. Kelsey and Chris make a beautiful partnership and I look forward to hearing more of Anna's books done in this way.

Fantastic series
Absolutely love Anna Lowe. She writes absolutely fantastic shift novels.
This series is based on the Robin Hood stories and at the start when I realise that the narrator weren’t English I wasn’t sure whether I would really love them but the narrators that Anna got to do the story is absolutely fantastic. You get into the book really quickly and gutted that it’s a short series would’ve loved to have more in it if you haven’t read before check out series, they are fantastic and well worth to be in audiobook as well

Forget everything you know about the Robin Hood
Overall it was an enjoyable listen. There is the danger, excitement and steam that are always present in Anna Lowe’s books. The narration by Kelsey Osborne was amazing as always, and the addition of Chris Merlin works very well. Highly recommended.
Tempting the Sheriff
This book introduces Robynne Hood the outlaw and Daniel the sheriff of Nottingham. Similarly to the original tale, Robynne is giving stolen coins to the poor, but in this case they were stolen by her brother. Robynne and Daniel are fated mates but are on opposing sides, even though they want the same things.
Tempting the Outlaw
John Little is a bear shifter (my favourite kind of shifter!) and he doesn’t trust humans. Willa Scarlet is human; she knows about shifters, but she doesn’t know that John is one. A valuable treasure brings them together, but tough choices (and enemies) threaten to tear them apart.
Tempting the Maiden
As a third son, lion shifter Friar Tuck sees no other choice than taking his vows of poverty, obedience and chastity, even though he doesn’t belong at the monastery. Marian is a rare shifter (no spoilers here!) and she’s trying to outsmart Prince John. When Marian is double-crossed, she (reluctantly) teams up with Tuck.
I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author, and I'm leaving a voluntary review.

18hrs of excellent listening
Book One
Tuck dreamed of being a Crusader Knight but alas he is the third son so it’s a Friar’s life for him.
Marian, on the run from Prince John takes refuge at the monastery where she accidentally meets Tuck in the Library after he sneaks in to retrieve something.
Marian double crossed, leaves with Tuck to visit Lord & Lady Winthorpe to try and rally the troops into stopping Prince John and rescuing the King, but is caught and blackmailed.
This story ties in nicely with first two books and rounds off the trilogy nicely.
This should come as no surprise but everyone gets their happily ever after but to see how they get there then listen to this story.
Book Two
The plan - ride through Sherwood Forest & get the treasure stolen by Robin Hood, if only John Little was not distracted by a redhead called Willa (Scarlett) who was travelling in the carriage with said treasure.
Mystery, intrigue, idiocy, laughs and love all happen within Tempting the Outlaw.
Give it a listen, you won’t be disappointed.
Book Three
Who loves a good shifter story? Me, that’s who.
A great twist on the Robin Hood story.
The fox and the dragon, fated mates, one being the sheriff and one the outlaw, who robs from the rich and gives to the poor.
Robynne and Daniel are on opposite sides of the law, so will love prevail, of course.
I like that this story gives an HEA rather than have to wait until the last book, of course there is more to their story and I am looking forward to that along with the others in this series, especially Tuck.
Love the dual narration of each chapter.

Outlaws and the sherif.
This boxset is a great three book series, firstly Robin and Daniel in the first book. Book 2 is Willa and John Little, and book 3 is Marion and my absolute favourite friar Tuck. I love the shifter spin on this series, it's unique and interesting. The characters in each book are all different with something exciting to offer, the side characters and even the bad guys are all well written. The only downside to this series is that there's only three books, I would have loved Robert's story and king Richard too.
