Summary

The final act in the best-selling Widows series.

After serving a lengthy sentence for the murder of her husband, Dolly Rawlins is free from prison. And she's only got one thing on her mind: the diamonds she stashed before the police caught her.

But there are people waiting for Dolly on the outside - tough ex-prisoners who know about the diamonds, and they all want a cut.

Also waiting for Dolly is DS Mike Withey. He holds her personally responsible for the death of his sister in the diamond raid 10 years earlier. And he wants her back inside.

Dolly Rawlins has other plans. But can she realise the dream that kept her going all those years in prison and avoid those who are after her?

Good story to finish the Widows series

An enjoyable story and a brilliant end to the Widows series. An Intriguing story and it completes the series well. The narrator was good at drawing you into the story and making you feel everything was happening and building while you listened. I enjoyed the original Widows TV series and always wondered how the character of Dolly Rowlings would develop

Good conclusion to trilogy

Really enjoyed this final instalment, that is until the end. I was disappointed as it didn’t end the way I would like it to have, but that’s the authors prerogative.

A clever plot - an unpredictable twist in the tail

The first book, Widows was a real page turner and full of suspense. This book which picks up Dolly Rawlings life after a spell in prison, is quite good, but less full of suspense and quite predictable until the end.
