About this listen
What will you do when the sickness comes knocking?
Kit Easton had struggled her entire life. Things couldn't possibly have gotten any worse for her...until the day they did. Her mother was dying, her husband had long ago become the enemy, they were down to their last dime, and her daughter had distanced herself to avoid everyone and everything.
When Kit's sister takes their mother to New York for what is supposed to be a revolutionary, life-saving cure, a disaster no one could have predicted strikes. But it isn't just Kit's family that is affected, it rocks the entire world.
Now, with nothing but the help of a neighbor she barely knows, Kit must venture out into the dangerous new world in search of her family. Will she be able to find them before it's too late?

kept me guessing
it was exciting from the beginning and didn't slack. I didn't get bored as it didn't go on for hours on end. just enough.

Great book so good went straight onto book 2
This was an unexpected pleasure from the audio plus catalogue. So good immediately went onto next book.
The characters were relatable and worked for me and more importantly with the plot.
I liked the narration

A weak zombie tale
Was I the only one who really disliked the daughter and the mums ‘oh well’ attitude to everything. Maddie…my daughter…Maddie..my daughter…
There’s better books out there. Narrator was fine.

Absolutely dreadful, thousands of grammar mistakes
Do ‘books’ not get edited or proofread any more? This is outrageously bad. Endless grammar errors.

Another pointless publication
Started okay, then became the usual rubbish
with the so called silly main woman hankering after a guy ten mins after he shot her partner etc etc. Such utter rubbish should be in the youth section or better still never published. Worse ...before you can submit a review you are made to suffer it for ages! I wonder why us real readers and listeners bother reviewing anymore. When we do, our real reviews are edited or not published!
