Critic reviews

Praise for Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus:

"Drawing upon personal experiences as well as the latest Jewish and Christian scholarship in Israel, the authors skillfully guide you on a wonderful journey into Jesus' first-century Jewish world--exploring his culture, his lifestyle as an itinerant sage, and his well-honed rabbinic teaching methods and subtle but startling messianic claims. This book makes you really eager to sit at the feet of Rabbi Jesus and learn from the One we joyously serve as both Messiah and Lord. I commend it to every follower of Jesus of Nazareth."

--Dwight A. Pryor, Center for Judaic-Christian Studies

Wonderful

This book is informative and well worth having. The narrator is easy to listen to. And the book itself is brimming with fresh insight on the Jewish context of the scriptures.

Engaging and helpful

Recommended for anyone! I was surprised how many very familiar passages of the bible have different meanings to the original hearers.

Sitting in a dull lecture

I never had the sense of sitting at Jesus feet. Rather, it sounded like an auntie’ giving an account of her holiday , perhaps with a slide projector, explaining the snaps she took on her visit to Israel with long readings from the tour guide’s notes.

boring

I tried twice to read this book, second time, I downloaded it on audio and with headphones and book in hand, I hoped that I would manage to concentrate and get further, by listening and reading! What a waste of my money. I gave up at chapter 5. I looked at all the reviews and seems I'm the only one who can't get into it. Due to that I keep thinking , what am I missing?!!
