Summary
Unlikely rancher. Unclaimed land. Unimaginable beauties.
Blake was searching for simplicity, but fate had other plans. After an unexpected turn of events lands him in the fantastical world of Ylege, he's endowed with extraordinary physical abilities and inherits an unclaimed farmstead at the world's edge. Things seem to be falling into place until he encounters the gorls—beautiful, magical, sentient slimes.
As Blake learns the ropes of ranching blerps—the smaller, pearl-producing slimes—from mana gorl Glessal and darkness gorl Slanna, work quickly blurs into pleasure, and romance blossoms. Life is idyllic, but prosperity never goes unnoticed. The covetous Sheriff of the nearby town has his eyes on Blake's ranch, pressuring him to prove its profitability or lose it all.
Blake's once undemanding life is now a whirlwind of challenges, from protecting his ranch to defending his blossoming harem from those who would do them harm. With stakes this high, can he hold onto his new life and the gorls who've stolen his heart? Step into a world where ranching meets romance, and where one man's fight for love and livelihood is anything but ordinary.
Narrated in duet style.

great setting and great narration
first off, I love the premise and the main characters. they all have a unique feeling to them and the background management SIM elements are all interesting. I hope they get expanded on a bit more in the sequel as building stuff for yourself Vs using the system is never really touched on.
there were a couple of irritations - continuity points mostly. first off he lets a bandit go and then the very next line he is about to interrogate him; there's a comment about being sabotaged in the tavern but that never happens. a gorl is named before she introduced herself; a fights pacing is thrown off as you're not sure who is where in the scene; and an elf who is described IN DETAIL is then referred to as a dwarf a moment later.
the pacing makes this feel a little like the intro to a larger book but overall it does a good job of setting the scene of the world. I would love to see some more delving into his powers, what they mean, seeing how he (and the gorls( develop and hone their skills more than just having an innate grasp.
the narrators do an amazing job and the characters all sound alive and unique, the spicy scenes are great and I look forward to seeing this world expand and go into more depth!
