just brilliant
I read this series years ago. Listening to them in the car on my way to work and coming home is just filled with magic and adventure. That hour commute doesn't seem so long in fact nit long enough.

A great work and a great listen.
Where does Sojourn rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It ranks in my top five so far I plan to collect all the Drizzt books.
What other book might you compare Sojourn to, and why?
no idea as I've only just started collecting the books I'll have to wait and find out and i cant wait.
Which character – as performed by Victor Bevine – was your favourite?
Montolio DeBrouchee, a blind old ranger that can take on drizzt oh yes.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Born in darkness he now seeks to live in the light.
Any additional comments?
once you finish this book you wont be able to stop and want more and more.

Great
Loved the conclusion, voice actor is good. A couple more to mix it up and it would be 5 stars. A badass panter sound effect would be pretty epic too.

.
4/5
A different direction for our drow protagonist on this third installment. Drizzt has made it out of the underdark and into the surface world. However, he soon finds that his life will still be full of challenges and ones quite different from those he's face before.
- I enjoyed the change of environment and the way the plot placed fresh obstacles in Drizzt's way for him to overcome. Not all challenges can be solved with drow magic or scimitar blades.
- I thoroughly enjoyed the sections with Mooshi and his role in mentoring Drizzt. I love a good fantasy mentor and find the relationship very comforting.
- Throughout this book (and the earlier ones too), I enjoyed the narrative around morals and discussions on what makes a person. Drizzt and other characters face quandaries based on stereotypes, assumptions of their character, the discord between others' perceptions and their own internal conscience. Whilst the trilogy does feel like a traditional good Vs bad fantasy, there are times where it explores the grey areas of morality and how different people come to find peace within themselves.
I've really enjoyed following Drizzt and will return to him again in the future. Definitely recommended for lit RPG fans, those who enjoy fantasy about other races and twisting, episodic storylines.
