Terrible Narrator, Don't Buy This Audible Book!

The stories were passable if a little clichéd but OMG, the narrator was awful. I've nothing against an American narrator, but this one has one single voice. If it's a female character and just one voice for all male characters, worst of all, her intonation is all over the place. A single sentence would have so many highs and lows and none of them in the right places. It's totally unbearable to listen to, and within 30 seconds, I'd had enough, but as I'd paid for it, I persevered through a whole story. it didn't get better, and I could face no more. Fortunately, I had bought the Kindle book as well, so I could read the rest, but don't buy this Audible Book you have been warned!
