Summary
In the heat of a Greek island summer, some slake their thirsts with cool, clear water. Others prefer something stronger, but disgraced government minister Gikas Fragolis has taken his love of the bottle too far. An excellent short story ,sean Barratt in my opinion is one of the best narrators on Audible I could listen to him read the phone book and enjoy it...

Enjoyable short story
Short stories are quite difficult to create a full rounded experience but this little tale delivers and fills a dull hour.
Sean Barrett can do no wrong. His story telling brings everything to light

Bit of cheat
I have loved this series - and this short story is on exactly the same lines - but perhaps it's time to retire Hermes if he can't go the whole distance.

The Greek Detective - A Real Treat
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
A gentle, well-written crime short story set in Greece. Fans of Hermes Diaktoros will know exactly what to expect while those who have never encountered 'the fat man' are in for a real treat. 'Still Waters' will have you coming back for more.
