Summary
As the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve, Cass finds her husband lying naked on a coat-strewn bed, entwined with another woman. She's determined to get over him - and soon. Laughter & tears
Absolutely brilliant listen, such an easy story to follow, upbeat, funny and sometimes a few tears, this book had my attention from beginning to end and the best bit was it was free to listen to as it was incredibly in my Amazon Audio membership

esay listening
sorry, but narrators voice not for me. but she has a lovely clear voice. story annoyed me at times. the money, £400 on a hair do and everything else. fantasy land for 99% of listeners

Wrong narrator
Well written story,however the narrators voice was very annoying,too old for the character and spoke in a kind of grandma talking to baby kind of voice,sounded like she was laughing most of the time even during the sad parts,ruined the book for me.

I have just found this author by accident. I have laughed out loud at the antics of these women. Great listen if you want a light hearted storyline, so well written.

Enjoyed The Book, but not so much the narrator
I enjoyed the storyline, but thought it was a bit too long and obvious and the narrators voice sounded too old for the 39 yo woman, sounded more like a grandma. She made the men sound like barraboys!

a lovely relaxing read
This book was easy to delve into from the very beginning and truly enjoyable, I enjoyed every minute of it and what made it more enjoyable for me personally was that it didn't take intense concentration to keep track of the story. It was wonderful from start right through to it's conclusion and more excitingly it has a follow up book, what more could a reader ask for? 😊

Didn’t love it!!
Found the narration to be pompous and the beginning of the story so irritating I nearly gave up.. eventually I warmed to the characters but was glad when I finished it!!

Ridiculous, joyous listening
