Stonehenge is first and foremost a great historical novel. Bernard Cornwell is well known and admired for the realism and imagination with which he brings earlier worlds to life. And here he uses all these skills to recreate the world of primitive Britain and to solve the mysteries of who built Stonehenge, how and why.

Excellent listen
The narrator here is fantastic, he really makes this well written story so much better. Enjoyed it from start to finish and am keen to listen to more books read by Jonathan Keeble - give that man a pay rise!

One of the best
If this is your genre the you can't get much better, a complicated story hidden behind a base narrative, much like cornwells best. Well written and well researched. Cornwells vision of ancient Britton is utterly believable.

Wonderful tale, beautifully read, highly recommend

the book is a great telling of a Wonder of the world read by Jonathan keeble and his great voices he uses to bringing the characters to life he is truly born to read Bearnard Cornell's stories
