Absolute drivel
Would you try another book written by Tolu Adeleye Ph.D. or narrated by Angelina Will?
No, I would not. This author is having a laugh: how on earth did it get published? This is the biggest load of garbage I've ever forced myself to sit through. Actually I couldn't even finish it or I would have thrown the computer across the room.
The narrator was kind of OK I guess except she has that kind of earnest, insipid American-ness that makes me want to give her a good shake (sorry).
What was most disappointing about Tolu Adeleye Ph.D.’s story?
This book contains no useful information or insight whatsoever. Anyone with half a brain could have written it. Basically he/she just lists dreams one may have ('you might dream of winning the lottery! You might dream about getting a promotion!' Really? wow, I could never have imagined what my dream might be) - this takes up about 3 chapters. Then for the next 3 chapters she lists reasons why you haven't fulfilled your dream yet. (Maybe you became ill? Lost your job? Got pregnant?) as if you are sitting there wondering why you haven't carried out your own plans. For goodness sake! This is drivel!! ANYONE buying a book like this has a dream, knows what it is, knows why it hasn't happened and is looking for an inspirational way to go about moving it forward, NOT spend hours of their precious time listening to someone musing about what their dream could potentially be, as if it was a 'Let's see if I can guess what the problem might be!' book. AAAAARGH!!
Any additional comments?
There are some decent books out there within this genre. I thought this was something a bit different....I like the concept of being 'pregnant' with a dream and nurturing it until it's time to give birth. It's a good analogy. But now I've mentioned it, no need to buy the book. Absolutely nothing else of use, or even entertainment, in here.
